Blinded at Savvy

..LMAO…I am talking about the Savvy Blind so funny!

Sar always hosts a blind scrap on the CC weekends, and I have to admit it always scares me… I am terrible at them. It must have something to do with my unwillingness to take orders..LOL..I don’t know actually what it is, but usually I SUCK!

This month for the first time ever..I managed to complete the page without EXTRA help from Sar…I was feeling so proud of myself until I loaded it up in the gallery and realised that I missed an entire step….ROFL!

Oh well here it is anyways!

here is a close-up of some WOW chipboard that I used in my clustering

So there you have it.. another layout done, that I am happy with thanks to the girls at Savvy!

I’ve been Cyber-Cropping!

i have always loved a good cyber crop, and I love the ones at Scrapbook Savvy because the challenges are always so much fun. I also try my hand at the blind scrap challenge that Sar puts down, and usually fail, but this time I did it!  YAY ME!(I’ll share that one later in the week once the reveal is posted)

So here is what I managed this weekend--------

Anthea’s challenge- paint/misting, layering, distressing

Sara’s challenge was a sketch----here is my version

Kerryn’s challenge was to scraplift from the gallery. i chose a gorgeous layout by Niq Follet…she is awesome

Renee’s challenge was to use all things spotty/dotty!

So there you have it… A selection of chalelnge layouts…all a little different but all still me!

Do you like cyber cropping as much as me???

Do you Support….

..makers of handmade embellishments"?

Even though Susan and I make A Lil’ Somethin’s, we both love to support our fellow makers out there.

For one, I love Lime Tree Creations…the cutest hand crochet flowers, lace and embellies…gotta love them!

Sick…but still able to scrap..

I have hardly any energy, but the only thing that doesnt poop me out even more is sitting at my desk web surfing or scrapping, and i can do it at whatever time my fevers wake me up at.

here are a couples I have done while up at ungodly hours with the sweats.

Out Of The Hat criteria this month are to do a layout with complimentry colours(I chose the blue and orange choice), felt(blue star) and paper tearing.

this next layout is for the My mind’s Eye sketch challenge. Using 80% of MME products (combination of Stella& Ruby, Fine and Dandy, Lost and Found, and Lush), with the theme ‘Fall’ ..I know the Americans are talking about Autumn but I thought I would put my own twist on the theme.

And this final layout if for the sketch challenge over at Savvy.

I used some of the WOW chipboard fencing strip on this layout, CUTE HEY!!!

Well…what can I say..

..I have been totally inspired to scrap lately!

here are a few layouts that I have created lately for different challenge sites.

This one is for ‘Show Us Your Stuff’ with their technique of using yarn/twine on your layout. I have created a flower with twine.

Then this layout is for Page Maps, using one of their sketches this month.

And then finally, I have been playing with some terrific WOW products.

How cute are these sea creatures with this Wave border??

And then, check out this cute SCHOOL range of chippies!

super cute hey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Playing with some new ranges

… that the wonderful Anna’s Craft Cupboard sent me in my DT kit this month.

love the new ‘Random’ range from CRATE PAPERIMG_0232IMG_0231

For this layouts I have misted over a doily with 2 shades of mist to create the background effect, and have used a HEAP of Prima flowers and punched out butterflies to create a real girly layout

And I also go given these cute papers from PEBBLES called ‘ Fresh Goods’.. they are super cute, and create colours. Some of the papers are awesome patterned kraft cardstock…perfect for your background papers

For this layout I have used a negative alpha sheet as a mask, and have accented the layout with random alphas as embellishments (great way to use up bits and bobs from alpha sheets)

and I also have been playing with some Bella Blvd Xmas papers… so stay tuned from some Xmas inspired layouts
